« Having Monday in the sun is something we'll never have »… except maybe this year. Just a few days before the Easter weekendthe weather is set to be quite unpredictable, with showers, clouds, and sunny spells. A mixed bag, though luckily saved by a fairly bright and sunny public holiday Monday

But if there's one time when we dream of blue skies and spring sunshine, it’s to kick off a three-day weekend. Unfortunately, this Saturday, April 4th is indeed going to start... under the rain. Multiple showers are expected in the morning across the entire Paris region, just to cool down those terrace brunch cravings a bit.

But here's the good news: the afternoon will bring an improvement, with a gradual return of sunny spells that should even last into the evening. As for the temperatures, it will remain mild with 11°C to 13°C in the morning, then 15°C to 17°C in the afternoon.

Easter under the clouds (and a few drops)

Similarly, Easter Sunday might stir things up a bit. From the morning, a very cloudy sky will settle over the western half of the region, accompanied by a few showers. Not exactly ideal for an egg hunt...

In the afternoon, rain is expected to spread over a large part of Île-de-France, particularly in the areas of Val-d'Oise, Yvelines, Seine-Saint-Denis, and the northeast of Seine-et-Marne. Only Essonne and Val-de-Marne might escape with drier weather. Meanwhile, temperatures will remain steady, ranging from 12°C to 14°C in the morning and 13°C to 17°C in the afternoon.

Finally, a true spring vibe!

After two not-so-glorious days, Easter Monday will arrive as a little reward. The sun will make its grand return across the entire region, with beautiful sunny spells starting in the morning and continuing throughout the day.

It will be a bit cooler in the morning, with temperatures around 9°C to 11°C, but they will quickly rise to 15°C to 18°C in the afternoon. We have no doubt you'll fully enjoy this holiday, between a stroll in the park and coffee outdoors.

But as always, these predictions will need to be fine-tuned in the coming days. One thing is for sure: this Easter weekend in 2026 will require a bit of adjustment… and maybe a handy umbrella.
