After repeated closures and reopenings, La Flèche d’Or, an engaged, inclusive, and supportive project located in an old train station of the Petite Ceinture in the 20th arrondissement, is taking its final bow. In about six months, exactly on June 27th, this place that has seen so many heartwarming evenings and events will permanently close its doors, as announced on La Flèche d’Or’s Instagram account this Wednesday evening, January 7th. Six months to share, create, support, and celebrate. Six months to write the end of a beautiful story.

Reduced and Adapted Activities

In order to best anticipate the closing of its spaces and allow for a smoother transition, La Flèche d’Or is unfortunately needing to gradually adjust its organization and the resources invested. This means a reduction in activities and its staff. But don’t worry, the end isn’t tomorrow. La Flèche will continue until June.

ve; propose events that bring people together and continues its volunteer commitment, which remains at the heart of this place's life, now more than ever.

Socio-cultural actions are continuing until the end, with ongoing mental health support and access to rights, special family and youth events, and free access to activities for those who need it the most. The solidarity canteen is also still active, open every Friday and Saturday from 12 PM to 2 PM, and also welcoming people in shelter.it's in social hotels in the afternoons (on shared cooking), occasional outreach activities, and solidarity breakfasts on Sundays.

6 months to enjoy the places

The permanent closure of the Flèche d’Or will take place on June 27, 2026. This closure will lead to the start of a series of renovation works. At the same time, a call for projects has been launched by the City of Paris for the permanent occupancy of the location. We still have to see what project will replace our beloved Flèche d’Or…

But for now, the curtain remains open. Until the deadline, we can continue to support the project by attending the events (usually at a pay-what-you-can price, and thus open to generous donations), as well as by coming to sit at the solidarity canteen to grab a bite and help keep the place alive. Whether it’s for a lively karaoke night, a wild drag show, or a dance party, the Flèche will stay standing until the very end.
