We advise you to sit down because this news will change your life forever (and we're clearly not exaggerating). The SNCF has introduced new options that will clearly revolutionize our way of traveling.

The Full Train Alert for Last Minute Travel

Attention latecomers! This new feature called SNCF Connect, known as the Full Train Alert, will now allow you to join the waiting list when a train is fully booked, giving you a chance to get a seat if someone cancels.

If you are the first on the list, you will receive a notification, and you have a limited time to purchase the seat added directly to your cart. What makes this option particularly innovative is that it applies not only to TGV trains but also to Intercity and Ouigo trains.

The installment payment set up

And as good news never comes alone, here's a second one: to make life easier for its users, SNCF has implemented installment payment since summer 2023. You can now pay for your train and bus tickets in 3 or 4 installments thanks to the partnership between the railway company and Alma. The only criteria is that the bookings must be equal to or greater than €150 and must not exceed €1999. As convenient as it may be, if you choose this option, additional fees will apply.
