Summer is here, bringing along deep desires to chill in the coolness at the end of the day, with a fantastic picnic and a nice, chilled bottle. However, while we first think of the banks of the Seine, these spots are often crowded and even baking in the sun. Luckily, a number of green spaces in the capital open their doors all night for a guaranteed refreshing moment. Even better, some of the biggest parks in Paris, usually closed early in the evening, are open until midnight.
A quarter of gardens open 24/7 all year round
You might not know this, but the capital boasts no less than 531 parks, gardens, and squares. That's already quite a lot, and on top of that, 140 of them welcome you non-stop, and that...
all year round. So yes, we know, winter, is not the most appealing plan in the world, but summer really brings us joy. Well, since there are over a hundred, you can imagine, we won't give you the exhaustive list in this article, but you can find the closest one to you on the Paris City Hall website (right here). However, we prefer to warn you, in most cases, they are small gardens and squares, not huge parks. Fortunately, some of the spaces that fall into this latter category still make us happy by staying open longer than usual, and that fills us with joy.Voir cette publication sur Instagram
A Tribute to Cinderella
If you've been living in Paris for a while, you've probably noticed that the opening hours of Parisian parks change with the seasons. 5 PM in the dead of winter, between 9 PM and 10 PM in the summer. But some do even better and keep their doors open until the stroke of midnight. Among the 13 parks involved, there are some big names, like Buttes-Chaumont, the Reuilly Garden, and Montsouris Park. Once again, we'll leave you the complete list right here, but in any case, this is very good news.

Even better, during this heatwave, like we're experiencing right now, 7 more green spots are added to the list, including Park Monceau, the André Citroën Park, or the Martin Luther King Park (you can find them all here). Let's just say that you have plenty of choices to find a spot near you where you can enjoy the shade and help cool down a bit!
