When you think of a cool neighborhood in Paris, the 3rd arrondissement doesn’t necessarily come to mind first. You might picture the 11th, 18th, or 20th instead. However, this new ranking is undeniable, and it’s a street in this district that has managed to warm the hearts of the Time Out editorial team. Well, at the same time, it’s a street in the heart of the Marais, and we have to admit that this place is indeed quite cool.
A Beautiful Comeback
If, in March 2024, the City of Light already clinched a spot in the ranking of the coolest streets in the world thanks to the rue de Belleville, we were still a bit disappointed about its position, which only landed at 20th place. And let me tell you, our proud ego took a little hit!
1 year and 8 months later, happily, everything is better now, since not only do we have another street in the ranking, but furthermore, we've gained 7 places, and that's definitely something!La plus belle ville du monde. Froidement. https://t.co/PUEnnS0osH pic.twitter.com/oIyiDkNgVT

A Street Full of Treasures
So, who's the big winner, you might ask? It's the Rue des Gravilliers in the 3rd arrondissement! This relatively narrow street has made a name for itself with a thoughtfully crafted blend of all the best that Paris has to offer. From mouthwatering Asian cafes to trendy new restaurants, some classic establishments, and great artisans offering cheeses, wines, and other delicious treats (perfectly French, of course), as well as art galleries of all kinds. In short, it has everything you need to have a great time and make us happy.

South America, the Pinnacle of Cool
At the top of this ranking is the Rua do Senado, located in Rio de Janeiro. A lively, vibrant street that perfectly combines tradition and modernity, celebration and culture, dining and drinks. Following closely is the Orange Street in Osaka, Japan, famous especially for its numerous vintage clothing stores. Finally, rounding out the top 3 is Rua do Bonjardim in Porto. Just a stone's throw from the city's major attractions, this street is becoming THE place to be, and it definitely makes us want to check it out!
