The Editor

With its 20,000 m² of lawn and friendly atmosphere, the open-air cinema in La Villette is ready to once again offer a sparkling cinematic rendezvous for this 2026 edition. For more than a month, from July 22 to August 16, several short films, movies, and shows will be screened on the famous giant screen in the Triangle lawn.

Settled comfortably in a deckchair or on a blanket, under the stars or around a countryside picnic, you'll be able to (re/discover masterpieces of the seventh art, and enjoy it for free! A long-standing tradition that proves the event, which celebrates its 35th anniversary this year, has lost none of its appeal. If entry remains free (in the Due to limited available spots, deck chairs need to be reserved online on the La Villette website. But most importantly, we highly recommend bringing blankets and seats for extra comfort, as even in summer, the little evening breeze can be felt.

A nature and ecological theme

On the programming side, a first selection already sets the tone. After celebrating music and dance last year, this edition explores the forest as a place for contemplation, both a symbol and a character in its own right, but also a vehicle for ecological messages. The theme resonates with the recent expansion of the park dedicated to biodiversity and animals over 15,000 m², offering a perfect setting to raise awareness among young and old while enjoying captivating films.
