The End of 15 Years of Dispute
Founded in 1991 in Manchester by brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, Oasis is one of the flagship bands of the 90s Britpop scene. Their debut album, Definitely Maybe (1994), immediately shot the band to the top of the charts in the UK, followed by the monumental (What's the Story) Morning Glory? released in 1995, which sealed their future and international fame with hits like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger". In total, the band released no less than seven studio albums and organized multiple world tours. Unfortunately, Oasis's story has also been marked by tensions between the band members.
These moments led to their separation in 2009 after their appearance at the Parisian festival Rock en Seine.
