Disneyland Paris reveals a bit more of its transformation. As the park celebrated its 33rd birthday on Friday, April 11, a few lucky guests had the chance to access the Disney Adventure World construction site, a worthy heir - with a doubled area, no less - of the legendary Walt Disney Studios. On the agenda for the visit, detailed by TF1 Info: a stroll through the upcoming themed areas of Frozen and The Lion King, the star films of the franchise, which we invite you to discover through the first images.

Where the magic happens

The progress of the construction site, hidden behind barricades for many months, had never really been assessed. The visitors present were able to discover Disney Studio 1, which was previously dedicated to the behind-the-scenes of cinema, and has now been transformed into a Hollywood boulevard lined with palm trees and adorned with stars on the ground. Not many changes are expected in the future, as this space will be the first of the new attractions to open to the public on May 15th.

Behind the studio doors, the vibrant world of the show will be celebrated throughout the World Premiere Plaza, with lively themed theaters at every corner - including the Studio Theater, Studio D, and Animagique Theater, all featuring a varied lineup connected to the stories of Disney and Pixar. Just a bit further along the promenade known as Adventure Way, you’ll find the two new attractions dedicated to Tangled and Up, with construction set to begin by the end of 2025. The Pixar masterpiece is expected to take the form of a carousel, though the elite journalists haven't been able to dig up more details yet!

Frozen Lake and Glacial Mountain

At the end of the avenue, and as we all know, Disney loves "natural" spaces to unwind after the excitement, the press had the chance to explore the impressive Lake of Arrendelle (spanning 3 hectares of water), which immerses visitors in the well-known area dedicated to the Frozen. This World of Frozen will feature a 37-meter high mountain, which is already well underway, along with a spacious restaurant overlooking the lake, a spot to meet the characters, and an exciting nighttime show featuring water drones. As you can see, this project is incredibly ambitious and is expected to be completed by 2026.

Finally, a second mountain will be built near Elsa's, this time inspired by the world of the The Lion King. The area will feature a water attraction, the first in the world dedicated to the famous animated film. However, there's no image to enjoy just yet: construction won't start until late 2025.
