A new Parc Astérix on the other side of the Rhine
On Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Compagnie des Alpes confirmed the transformation of Parc Belantis into a new Parc Astérix. So, it will be in Germany that this new park will be created, and it will "gradually be developed." This decision was made "in agreement with the Albert René editions," who own and manage the rights to the Astérix adventures.

Right now, Belantis Park is shining as "one of the largest amusement parks in eastern Germany," says Dominique Thillaud, general director of Compagnie des Alpes during a press conference. It competes with Europa-Park in the western part of the country. With "more than 80 hectares owned in full property," the company hopes to welcome "nearly 900,000 visitors per year."
A first part accessible starting in 2026
While the entirety of this second Parc Astérix is expected to open to the public "around 2030-2031," a first area should be accessible as early as the beginning of the year 2.
