A new night train connects Paris to the Alps this winter!

If you've just come back from your ski vacation and are already dreaming about the next one, here's some exciting news for you! This winter, the Travelski Night Express train will connect Paris to the Alps in under 10 hours. 

Snow-capped peaks, breathtaking landscapes… The mountains inspire dreams in many ways. Unfortunately, from Paris, ski resorts aren’t always the easiest to reach. However, it seems that transportation hassles will soon be a thing of the past! From December 19, 2025, to March 21, 2026, a new night train Travelski Night Express, a subsidiary of the Compagnie des Alpes, will connect Paris to Bourg-Saint-Maurice in Savoie. You'll be able to easily access eight major resorts: Méribel, Val d'Isère, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Tignes, Les Ménuires, Courchevel, and Val Thorens.


Night trains running throughout winter 2025-2026

Great news for all mountain lovers and winter sports enthusiasts! Thanks to this new night line, the Savoie region will be easily accessible by train for Parisians. 14 round trips will be offered, with departures on Friday evenings and returns the following Saturday evenings, allowing for a delightful eight days of vacation. On this Travelski train, 660 sleeping berths will be available for travelers, along with a bar and restaurant car.

The goal is to allow the French to travel while minimizing their environmental impact. “The launch of the Travelski Night Express offers an audience increasingly concerned about their carbon footprint.

 an alternative for which we have already seen the appeal », says Nicolas Delord, director of Travelfactory, in the Figaro. To make this trip, you should expect an average of eight hours.


Reservations open in May 2025

To enjoy this train, you can already book your sleeper or even privatize a compartment! Special packages will be available, allowing travelers to enjoy a “package” that includes the journey, accommodation, ski pass, and rental equipment. These will be offered starting at around 800€ per person!
