Snow-capped peaks, breathtaking landscapes… The mountains inspire so many dreams! Unfortunately, from Paris, ski resorts aren't always the easiest to reach. However, it seems that the travel hassles will soon be a thing of the past. This winter 2025-2026, a new night train Travelski Night Express, a subsidiary of Compagnie des Alpes, will connect Paris to Bourg-Saint-Maurice in Savoie. This means you can conveniently access eight major resorts: Méribel, Val d'Isère, La Plagne, Les Arcs, Tignes, Les Ménuires, Courchevel, and Val Thorens.

Night trains running throughout the winter 2025-2026

Great news for all mountain lovers and winter sports enthusiasts! Thanks to this new night line, Savoie will be reachable by train for Parisians starting from December 19, 2025, until March 20, 2026. 14 round trips will be available, with departures on Friday evenings and returns the following Saturday evening, allowing for a delightful eight days of holiday fun. This Travelski train will offer 660 sleeping berths for travelers, along with a bar and restaurant car.

The goal: to allow the French to travel while minimizing their environmental impact. "The launch of the Travelski Night Express offers...

more and more concerned about its carbon footprint an alternative for which we have already noticed the enthusiasm », says Nicolas Delord, director of Travelfactory, in the Figaro. To make this journey, you should expect an average of eight hours.

Reservations open in May 2025

To enjoy this train, you'll be able to book your sleeper compartment or even privatize a compartment starting from May 2025. Packages will be available, allowing travelers to enjoy a "package" that includes travel, accommodation, ski passes, and equipment rental. These will be offered starting at approximately €800 per person.
