In 2022, we said goodbye to the good old Bus Palladium, along with all the memories created in that legendary rock club, which had hosted the greatest names. From Dalí to Mick Jagger, including the Beatles, Otis Redding, Les Rita Mitsouko, Téléphone… Six decades of boldness, electrifying concerts, and wild nights suddenly came to an end. However, the Bus Palladium is making a (big) comeback on April 10, but in a whole new form: the rock venue transforms into a lively place for fun and celebration (still centered around music) with concerts and a 5-star hotel shop.
The rebirth of an icon
Since its opening in 1965, the Bus Palladium has made the heart of Pigalle race, night after night on Rue Fontaine. Its closure in 2022 truly marked the end of an era, the close of a dancing floor as uniting as it was liberating, where for decades a rock paradise with no social barriers reigned supreme. To soften the blow, we were simultaneously informed about its demolition, ...
a construction site and a renewed spirit. A renaissance signed by Christian Casmèze, the historic owner who inherited the building from his grandfather, a living memory of the place, alongside Nicolas Saltiel, founder of the Chapitre Six hotels – who himself worked at the Bus in his youth – bringing a fresh, modern vision. Together, they have transformed and enhanced this legendary spot in Pigalle, featuring a stage-club, hotel, restaurant, bar, and rooftop for lovely days.
Bus Palladium 2.0
The Bus Palladium is rising from its ashes, led by an incredible team. The Studio KO has taken charge of all the architecture, creating a dialogue between rawness and softness, memory and creation, rock and hedonism. On the artistic direction and cultural curation side, we have Caroline de Maigret at the helm, a music producer, Parisian icon, and figure of Pigalle since she was 20. She has reimagined the Bus with a contemporary twist (while keeping its old generosity) by crafting playlists designed for every moment and every space, a signature amber-woody scent, and uniforms (designed by Husbands) inspired by British rock and the New Wave. The nightlife is entrusted to Lionel Bensemoun (from Le Baron, La Mano…) who aims to reconnect with the DNA of the Bus Palladium, featuring concerts, DJ sets, performances, shows, afterparties…A return to the roots that pays tribute to all those concerts that have taken place here, featuring a mix of young underground bands and famous French and international stars, from Alain Bashung to Étienne Daho, not to mention The Strokes and Pete Doherty.

A Five-Star Hotel That Goes Against the Grain
The highlight of the transformation of Bus Palladium is undoubtedly the creation of a brand new five-star hotel, designed as a place that comes to life both day and night. What can you expect? 35 beautifully decorated rooms – featuring Proustian cork walls, raw concrete ceilings, powder pink carpets, and Ojas speakers with integrated playlists – along with a Dalí Suite that pays tribute to the famous Catalan painter who used to frequent this spot. On the culinary side, Chef Valentin Raffalli creates the menus for the restaurant (open 24/7, 365 days a year), the bar, and breakfast, using well-sourced products and intentionally streamlined menus.
The good news? The Bus Palladium is set to keep leaving its mark on the Parisian nightlife and is officially reopening on Friday, April 10, 2026 – to the delight of night owls everywhere!
