Bad news for the users of line 12. You thought you could finally be at ease and return at any hour of the day or night every night of the week — between 6 AM and 2 AM, let's not get carried away, right? This is not the case. If the closures that happened every Wednesday and Sunday since the beginning of the year ended on May 17th, they are back this week, and for a little while.

More challenging evenings ahead

We know, taking the metro in Paris can quickly turn into a challenge. Especially when a line — the one that takes us home, of course, otherwise it’s not funny — decides to be under construction (with quite a few disruptions to boot) for more than half the year! And that’s clearly what

u’has chosen to do the pretty fir green line in 2026, as it has been playing with our nerves since January, offering us traffic interruptions several times a week at certain times. And it’s not over yet, as since Wednesday, June 3, here we go again, it is completely inaccessible on Wednesdays and Sunday evenings from 10 PM until the end of service, and this will last until June 28.

A Long Nightmare Ahead

Unfortunately, that's not all, since Line 12 will cause trouble again in the evenings with 2 interruptions before August, on July 1, 5, 8, and 9, and then on August 19, 23, 26, and 30, 2026. No fewer than 10 Wednesdays or Sundays—in addition to those in June—will be impacted by those unexpected line suspensions to endure this summer. And to top it all off, it will also be unreachable between Jules Joffrin and Concorde, this time for no less than 10 days, from July 16 to July 26, 2026. The message is clear: avoid Line 12 in the evenings, and already plan your alternatives for your summer travels trips, Bonbecs!
