Metro, sweet metro… Unfortunately, it's not because back-to-school season is approaching that the disruptions stop — quite the opposite! And what really gets us is when Line 4 — the most central and essential line in the capital, in our opinion — doesn't run normally. Well, one station won't be served at all for four months on this automated line.

A station unavailable for four months
If you're planning to head to the Left Bank and especially to Saint-Michel, you'll need to think about taking an alternative route. This station won't be served on line 4, from September 14 to December 19 inclusive! The reason? Renovation work will be carried out there during this period.

When you think it's over... there's more!
Still, summer construction work will be wrapping up soon, bringing some fresh updates to lines 4, 12, and 13. But come September, a few occasional disruptions will pop up across the network. For instance, on line 6, service will be completely suspended on September 6th and 20th, due to modernization work. As for line 8, traffic is suspended between Balard and Concorde, and the République station won't be served until April 22, 2027! Finally, on September 20th, until noon, service will be interrupted on the entire line 13. And for the rest of the year? Forat the moment, no disruptions have been announced, but we'll definitely keep you in the loop.
