Look, we don't know about you, but we've definitely given up hoping for a peaceful weekend in the capital. Good news though: while last Sunday saw no fewer than three lines completely out of service, this week, only one will be at a standstill, and, better still, it's not even the worst line in the capital, though it's certainly been in quite a storm since the start of the year...
Another Sunday
Since the beginning of September, line 6 burst onto the scene in the list of lines that have decided to make any travel impossible on Sundays. And while we've already managed to survive this ordeal
on numerous occasions (including last weekend), it's happening again this Sunday, October 18. So the line will be completely inaccessible, and this for the entire duration of service. None of the line's connections will be operating, but don't worry, a replacement bus will be put in place throughout the day. A chance to keep practicing getting by without the mint green line before the next closures that will happen during the months of November and December…[#travaux #ligne6] ⚠️La #ligne6 sera entièrement fermée pour travaux les dimanches suivants : ▪️4, 11 et 18 octobre ▪️8 et 22 novembre Des bus de remplacement circuleront entre CDG-Étoile et La Motte-Picquet - Grenelle #RATP + d'infos 👉https://t.co/KEEaTk0mHO https://t.co/5A3oV4fA7y

A week under pressure
And unfortunately, dear readers, we have to warn you, this probably won't be the only traffic restriction you'll face this week. Indeed, two days of demonstrations are expected this Tuesday, October 13th and this Saturday, October 17th, bringing together the student movement, as well as demands carried by the Yellow Vests and other professional groups. And naturally, large-scale demonstrations like these mean the closure of certain stations by the Paris police prefecture, particularly for security reasons. Rest assured, we'll keep you informed as soon as possible so you can plan your travels ahead of time!
