We all know the best and worst metro stations in Paris. But have you ever wondered where you can find a little peace and quiet in the bustling city? France 3 Île-de-France did some investigating and discovered the most deserted station in Paris. Surprisingly, the least crowded metro station is located in the 16th arrondissement. It's Église d'Auteuil on line 10, where only about 500 passengers pass through each day. Compare that to the 500,000 daily passengers at Gare du Nord station! Open since 1913, this station is not very popular due to its distant location from the city center and its position on the one-way section of the yellow line towards Boulogne - Porte de Saint-Cloud. With only one track and platform, it doesn't attract many travelers. But one thing is for sure, if you find yourself at Église d'Auteuil, you'll have some peace and quiet!
