As the arrival of the sun makes us happier than we've been in the past few months, there just had to be something to dampen our spirits. So, a big thanks to RATP for a new announcement that doesn’t exactly bring us joy: the partial closure of a line all day this Sunday, May 31st.

New Sunday, new problem. After the morning closure of line 13 a few weeks ago, it’s now line 12’s turn to act up this Sunday, May 31st. On the agenda, a partial closure of the line. And this time, it’s not just in the morning, it's all day long. What's next? The 11 completely unavailable for an entire weekend?


A limited disruption

On a more serious note, this Sunday, May 31st, line 12 will be completely closed between Porte de Versailles and Marie d’Issy, which totals… 3 stations — with only 2 actually closed, since Porte de Versailles will be the temporary terminus! In addition to these two, the stop Corentin Celton will also be inaccessible, and no connections will be provided.

 in those stations that, in any case, don't have any. Even though this traffic interruption is tough for the locals, let's not kid ourselves, the issue is relative, and it won't stop us from celebrating PSG's potential victory in the Champions League the day before (it's all about positive thinking, just believe and it will happen). Plus, a replacement bus will be available all day.


The Start of the Troubles

This is where things get tricky, because these modernization works are just the first of a long series. Indeed, if you thought that the nighttime closures on Wednesdays and Sundays starting at 10 PM were over, think again! They will certainly be back from June 3 to June 17, then from June 24 to June 28, and this time they will affect the entire line. And as the saying goes, three's a charm. We will wrap up this series of disruptions from July 16 to July 26 inclusive, during which traffic will be interrupted between Jules Joffrin and Concorde. Lots of exciting moments ahead, right?
