In the family of metro lines under construction this summer, I request the 12! After a year that has been very (too) complicated, marked by night closures at every turn, the pine green line has decided to make our lives a little more complicated this summer, with several more or less inconvenient closures spread over the months of July and August. And get ready, it starts very soon!

More red evenings ahead

Since the beginning of the year, the 12 has gotten us used to a more than chaotic operating rhythm. Indeed, it has interrupted its service more Wednesdays or Sundays than we can count since 10 PM. And bad news, it's not over. since these unexpected closures will take place until December, including the summer period. In detail, the line will be closed from 10 PM on July 1st, 5th, 8th, and 9th, as well as on August 19th, 23rd, 26th, and 30th. That's no less than 8 evenings of interruptions, and it all starts next week. Because yes, while the holidays are just around the corner, the summer works are too. And unfortunately, these night closures are just the tip of the iceberg.

10 days of hassle

Not content with giving us bittersweet evenings, the line will be completely interrupted between the stations Jules Joffrin and Concorde, this time for no less than 10 days, from July 16 to July 26, 2026. As usual, you know the drill, none of the 8 affected stops will be served, the two aforementioned stations will become temporary termini, and, of course, no connections will be provided. No replacement buses have been announced yet, so we will probably have to resort to alternative routes, with the help of nearby lines and local buses. Or simply go on vacation during that time, that works too!
