When you live in Paris, you are subject to a lot of sources of anxiety. Among them, waking up every morning with the fear of finding out that our favorite metro line will be the next to close its doors for various works. And this week, it's the turn of line 9 to receive the bad news. Oh rage, oh despair, oh RATP enemy, it's yet another thorn in the side of all the travelers on the green apple line.
2 dark days on the green line
Just yesterday, we told you about the closure of 9 metro lines this summer, making it a double whammy for Paris metro users. Indeed, the Paris transport authority has just announced the complete closure of line 9 this week.
weekend, from Saturday, May 31 to Sunday, June 1. In summary, none of the 37 stations on the line will be serviced for 2 days, and connections will obviously not be guaranteed.[#travaux #ligne9] L'amélioration du système de pilotage des trains nécessite la fermeture totale de la ligne, aux dates suivantes :

Behind this extremely restrictive closure, lies endless modernization work. And even though, yes, in principle, we think it's great to give things a little refresh, our patience is starting to reach its limits… And yes, we know, Roland-Garros will be over (that's something), and on top of that, it’s a public holiday. But many Parisians will still be on duty at work, solidarity day requires.
More troubles ahead
Unfortunately, we have another bad news for you, but this won’t be the last time the 9 will act up this year, as the apple-green line will be closed again in August, and this time for no less than 4 days. Indeed, here we go again, no trains will run between August 4 at 10:45 PM and August 8 of the same month. But overall, the metro this summer is ri .looks like a real obstacle course, since line 9 is just one of the 9 lines that will have disrupted service!
