We’ve known for a little while now, but super modern metro trains are soon to hit the underground tracks of the capital! This is fantastic news for sure, but it unfortunately means some preparations and, therefore, construction work. The line 10, the first to welcome the MF19, is proof of this, with a new series of temporary closures announced at the beginning of this year.
Complicated Evenings
If you live on line 10, we’d like to give you a heads up that you might have to skip your afterworks over the next few weeks. Indeed, starting from Sunday, September 7, until Thursday, October 2, the brown line trains won’t be accessible after 10:30 PM until the end of service, and this will last for 5 days a week. From Sunday to Thursday, all stations between the Austerlitz station and Boulogne-Pont de Saint-Cloud will be inaccessible for two whole hours before the regular traffic ends. And of course, no transfers will be available. The only possible exception: if there's a match at the Parc des Princes, which will allow normal circulation to continue. It’s clear where the RATP's priorities lie…
[#Travaux #Ligne10] La ligne sera fermée du dimanche au jeudi, le soir à partir de 22h30 aux dates suivantes :

Taking a step back to leap forward
These traffic interruptions, while slightly inconvenient for some, are actually great news. They have one single purpose: to speed up the preparation work for the launch of the new MF19 trains. These trains are expected to arrive in autumn 2025 (though no specific date yet) on the brown line, chosen first for its relatively small size and lower passenger traffic. 7 other lines will be affected afterwards (lines 3, 3bis, 7, 7bis, 8, 12, and 13), suggesting a number of closures ahead… In the meantime, let's meet again on October 2 to fully enjoy line 10 once more!
