We've been waiting for it, and here it is! The extension of line 14 finally opens to the public this Monday, June 24. So, starting today, you can hop on a metro train from Saint-Lazare or Châtelet to reach Orly airport.

Exciting news for Parisians and visitors alike! The long-awaited extension of line 14 is finally here, just in time for the upcoming Olympic Games. After almost 8 years of hard work, the extension officially opens on Monday, June 24th. Now you can easily reach Saint-Denis in the north and Orly airport in the south without the hassle of the Orlyval or Orlybus. President Emmanuel Macron himself inaugurated the new Saint-Denis-Pleyel station, marking the beginning of a new era in Paris transport. With the extension from Mairie de Saint-Ouen to Saint-Denis-Pleyel in the north, where new lines 15, 16, and 17 will eventually connect, and an extension from Olympiades to Orly Airport in the south, including stops at Maison-Blanche, Hôpital-Bicêtre, and Haÿ-les-Roses, this upgrade will vastly improve the commute for many people. The grand opening ceremony is set for midday at 12:30, promising to bring joy to all. 🎉


Orly finally within reach of Navigo !
