And unfortunately, the result is clear, and once again, a bit disappointing. The labs are firm, the man identified in Doubs is not Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès. This is news that is likely to disappoint all passionate individuals about this tragedy, but it also heralds the continuation of this new wave of frenzy, as the mystery remains unsolved.

Ever since, there have been more than 1700 sightings of this elusive man. The latest ones include Jean, spotted at a religious event, and bones found on a beach in Finistère in early April. Unfortunately, no breakthroughs yet.
