"Sport can bring people together in a unique way and has the power to change the world," said Nicholas Jooste, Australian Rugby Union player. "It unites, it gathers, it bonds... More than just a performance, sport is experienced together. This summer, Paris and the rest of France will resonate to the rhythm of the Olympic Games. To evoke this spirit of sharing so intrinsic to sport, the capital is setting up the 'Paris celebrates the Games' campaign, which includes around twenty fan zones where you can enjoy, meet people, and celebrate this international sporting event."

Celebration sites throughout the capital

In every corner of Paris, iconic venues of the capital will host the festivities. In the north, Square Léon Serpollet, the Eole Gardens, and the Bassin de la Villette will be ready to make you celebrate. In the center, Hôtel de Ville will set up a huge temporary party site. On the left bank, it will be places like Choisy Park, the Arènes de Lutèce, Saint-Sulpice Square, and the 15th District Hall that will come alive. These places will be accessible throughout the Olympics and Paralympics.
