A few weeks ago, the RATP announced some work and disruptions on no less than 9 lines this summer. 10 if we include line 6, which will have one station closed for 3 months. Such terrible news that we almost forgot that we are not there yet, and that more closures could still be announced in the coming weeks. Proof of this, starting this weekend, one line will be partially inaccessible for no less than 6 days.
6 Dark Days on Line 3
And yes, no suspense here, ladies and gentlemen, it is indeed line 3 that will be affected by this unexpected closure. On the agenda: no trains will run between the Opéra and Gallieni stations, which is more than half of the line. And let’s be honest, this really doesn’t work for us, since it clearly involves the most important half of the line.
te;ressante. This interruption, during which no service will be provided, as you can imagine, will take place from June 28, this Saturday, until the following Thursday, July 3. Because yes, next week, we’re already in July, and believe us, it’s quite the shock for us too. A replacement bus will be set up for the entire duration of the closures, between the stations République and Gallieni. So if you need to get from Opéra to République during this time, well, you’ll have to figure it out (more seriously, line 8 works great).[#travaux #ligne3] Durant l'été 2025, plusieurs types de travaux seront menés sur la ligne. En conséquence, le trafic sera interrompu du 28 juin au 3 août 2025 entre les stations Opéra et Gallieni. #RATP

This week, the 14 will be up to its antics again because, just like for centuries, until July 23rd, the line will be closed starting at 10 PM on Wednesdays. We know, it’s not a huge surprise, but we want to give you a heads up anyway—it can happen to anyone to be a bit dazed. And besides, we recommend that, no matter what, you should look on the bright side and see these little closures as training for the obstacle course awaiting us this summer in the metro halls!
