Just two days before the opening ceremony, and as the first competition events begin this Wednesday, July 24, new stations have been added to the already too long list of those that have closed their doors. Disruptions that affect two metro lines, and that are likely to bring joy to Parisians. We'll tell you all about these new inconveniences that encourage you more than ever to "anticipate your trips". Thank you, football Before we get into the details, let's go back to the reasons for these sudden closures for the day. It's because of the start of the first football matches of the Olympics, which will take place starting this afternoon at the Parc des Princes. So, the western part of the capital will be affected today, with some stops...We will be disrupted on lines 9 and 10, around the mythical PSG stadium. The Michel-Ange – Auteuil and Exelmans stations will be closed, but passengers will still be able to use the exits. So, it seems like the metro will stop, but without accepting new passengers. The Iéna station, on the other hand, will be closed all day.On line 10, the stations Boulogne-Jean Jaurès, Boulogne-Pont de Saint-Cloud, and Michel-Ange-Molitor will be closed starting at 4pm. Please note that all these stations will reopen tomorrow, before being closed again from July 27th to August 11th due to ongoing events at Parc des Princes, as well as those taking place at Roland-Garros.
