After the Palace of Versailles and the Bernardins College, the fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus is set to invest in a new spot in the Île-de-France region, especially in Paris, for his next fashion show. The date? January 25, 2026, just in time for the closing of the Fashion Week — which kicks off on January 20 — showcasing the men's ready-to-wear collections for the fall-winter 2026-2027 season.

A well-known place for Jacquemus
It’s at the Picasso Museum—an elegant 17th-century building located in the Marais—that Jacquemus will showcase his new models. It's a bold and yet perfectly logical choice: the creator had already organized his show "La Bomba" in 2017 during the Spring/Summer 2018 Fashion Week there. More than just an artistic decision, settling down at the Picasso Museum feels like a return to his roots. This initiative also helps to break free from the rigid and untouchable confines of fashion, making it more open and accessible.

Jacquemus and Picasso, a Long History of Inspiration
The connection between Jacquemus and Picasso isn't a new thing. « I saw a drawing at eight years old of a twisted face and I was fascinated in class », he recalled in 2017 during the show Stupéfiant. Just like an inspiration that feeds his work, Picasso finds a spot in the various Jacquemus pieces. Moreover, in his different projects, the fashion creator always makes sure to think beyond the realm of fashion, just as he did when he took on the role of set designer for the exhibition Myths at the Collège des Bernardins. « Simon maintains a very close relationship with the Picasso Museum and the art world in general [...] Building connections... Building lasting partnerships with cultural institutions is essential for him », says the brand Jacquemus in a statement.
