Since the beginning of the week, the sun has made its grand return to the capital. And while it has been a bit weak up until now, we're finally going to enjoy some more pleasant temperatures on the streets of Paris. Even better, it'll be even warmer in the City of Light than in the south!

Reasons why Paris is better than Marseille, much to the chagrin of some, there are hundreds of them. And we’ve just found a brand-new one: it’s getting warmer here than in the Phocaean city. That’s something that will give all the OM supporters who constantly remind us that PSG has never won the Champions League... a run for their money! Jokes aside, this Saturday April 5, 2025, it’s going to be warmer here than in the south of France!


Already the start of summer

This morning, as I headed out for work, what a joy it was to shed my scarf, my gloves, my 3 fleeces and my 18 hats after weeks of intense chill and runny noses! And great news, it shouldn’t stop there, as according to Channel Mé;teo, « the great spring sweetness will last until the peak on Saturday with temperatures worthy of late May or even early June in some regions » . Starting this afternoon, the thermometer should surpass 20°, a temperature we haven’t reached in at least 2 years, due to the disappearance of summer 2024.


Amazing Temperature Differences

The cherry on top is that not only will the weather be lovely in Paris over the next few days, but it will even be warm than in the South! And that's a huge pride right there. Indeed, tomorrow, the temperature will peak at 20 °C, while it will be only 17 °C in Nice. And the day after that, it’s the same story — still 17 °C in Marseille, compared to a lovely 22 °C in Paris! That’s a difference of 5 °C! However, we recommend you enjoy this little moment of glory because it won’t last long. Starting on Sunday, we’ll see a total reversal in the trend: 22 °C in the South versus a chilly 14 °C in the capital. We knew it was too good to last!
