And so, they had the brilliant idea of bringing in professional actors, like experts from the Jamel Comedy Club, to train as many drivers as possible. For one hour, a comedian teams up with a driver during one of their daily rides, helping them feel more at ease behind the wheel, encouraging them to connect with passengers, and making this humorous experience just a bit less stressful.

Our friends at BFM were fortunate to observe JC (comedian) and Calvin (driver) during one of these training sessions. And they all agree, people immediately feel happier and more engaged compared to encountering the impersonal (yet symbolic) Some even start chatting more freely with the driver, exchanging farewells as they exit the vehicle, and things like that.

Imagine if we had known that the secret to getting people to behave politely on public transport was simply to share funny jokes - we would have had clowns on every corner ages ago! But for now, it's the drivers from 3 bus centers who have been given special training. So get ready to start giggling out loud on the bus from now on!
