Unless you've been living in a cave, you surely didn't miss the joyful cheers that filled the capital on the evening of Wednesday, May 6th. And for good reason: Parisians hit the streets to celebrate the Paris Saint-Germain's qualification for the Champions League final!
A spot in the final for PSG
The semi-final match between the Paris club and Bayern Munich was not a done deal. After a long battle against the Bavarians, the second leg ended with a score of 1-1 (5-4 in the first leg). A brilliant performance that secured PSG's place in the Champions League final, scheduled for May 30th at 6 PM against Arsenal. The Paris Saint-Germain will need to put in a solid effort to achieve a historic double and defend their champion title. In fact, the new mayor of Paris, Emmanuel Grégoire, expressed his hope after the match on RMC to set up a fan zone in the capital to turn this final into a grand celebration. In the meantime, the...The Parisians are celebrating this first beautiful victory and eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite players, scheduled for this Thursday around noon at Roissy airport.
