The Editor

It was the most anticipated event of spring: the opening to the public of La Caverne de JR, this enormous installation covering the Pont Neuf in tribute to The Pont Neuf Wrapped by Christo and Jeanne-Claude. It was initially set to open in early June, but the opening date was pushed back by several days due to damage caused to the artwork by severe weather. Great news, since June 15, you can finally explore this immersive work that is 120 meters long and up to 18 meters high, and this will be available until June 28, 2026.

An immersive work that awakens the senses

A timeless atmosphere that transports us straight into a cave in the heart of Paris, a refreshing feeling brought on by the large canvas that mimics stone, the feeling of being cradled by memories… More than just a simple artistic piece, La Caverne du Pont Neuf offers a dreamlike experience. Designed as a total immersion, it includes a unique sound dimension composed by Thomas Bangalter (former Daft Punk). You can visit it every day of the week, 24/7

Crossing the bridge from one side to the other is free—just one more reason to check it out, whether solo, with friends, or family, before it gets taken down.
