The Editor

Yes, yes, you read that right. And we are just as (if not more) excited than you are about this news. "The Devil Wears Prada" and its iconic characters aka Miranda Priestly, Andrea Sachs, and Emily Charlton are going beyond your television screen, to take center stage in a musical comedy, just 2 hours from Paris. Adapting a successful film After "The Lion King", "Les Misérables" or even Mamma Mia, London's West End is taking on a new absolutely iconic story: that of The Devil Wears Prada. The eponymous novel written by Lauren Weisberger was published in 2003 and inspired the film starring, among others, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt, released in 2006.

A true timeless classic (the film's looks have actually become super trendy), the most fashionable story in cinema is now being reinvented as a musical comedy. To embody the queen of fashion and the editor-in-chief of Runway Magazine, no Meryl Streep this time (sadness), but another equally elegant and charismatic actress and singer: Vanessa Williams. If her face doesn't ring a bell, here's a hint, she played Renée Perry in Desperate Housewives and Wilhelmina Slater in Ugly Betty.
