Wednesday, August 12, 2026 is going to be an absolutely historic day. A solar eclipse will take place, the first since 1999 and the last before 2081. And Paris is one of the cities where you'll be able to enjoy it the most, with 92.2% obscuration! It will begin around 7:20 p.m. and reach its maximum at 8:20 p.m., before ending around 9:10 p.m. We've actually put together a little list of the best Parisian spots to see it. Be careful though: it's essential to wear ISO-certified glasses 12312-2 to watch this eclipse.
