Hey there, Parisians! Don't be alarmed if you hear the sound of helicopters buzzing in the sky this week - it's all part of a special operation by the National Gendarmerie for the upcoming Olympic Games. What's happening, you ask? Well, from May 27 to 31, there's a "reference mapping operation for the operational preparation of the 2024 Olympics" taking place. This means there will be four to five flights a day, between 8:30 am and 7 pm. Just sit back and enjoy the show as we get ready for the big event!

No risk for residents

Even though they are done at "low altitude", these flights are "routine and already carried out in other cities, they have no impact on the areas overflown", the Prefecture specifies.
