You dreamed about it? They did it! Next June, the musical comedy Les 10 Commandements will make its big comeback on stage. New version of the original show, new staging, new singers... Get ready for the show to give you the "desire to love".

"It will be up to us from tomorrow, it will be up to us to take the path, so that the love we will know how to give each other, gives us the desire to love." Let's be honest, we've all already hummed, or even sung at the top of our lungs, the song L'envie d'aimer, taken from the musical comedy Les 10 Commandements. Good news: you will be able to hear it performed live since the show is back on stage, 24 years after its premiere at the Palais des sports in Paris."


A new version of the original show

Get ready because from June 5th to 27th, the new show The 10 Commandments, The Desire to Love will be taking place at La Seine Musicale. This exciting version of the show will bring you a two-act performance, directed and choreographed by Giuliano Peparini, featuring original songs rearranged by Pascal Obispo. Transporting you from ancient Egypt to the present day, this modernized retelling of the Moses story is sure to captivate the audience.


A French tour in 2024

It all started on October 4, 2000 when the musical comedy by Lionel Florence and Patrice Guirao, with music by Pascal Obispo, premiered in Paris. The success was immediate, and the show played around the world for 7 years. Different versions have been created over the years. For this new adaptation, Pascal Obispo mentioned that he really "dusted off" the original work in an interview with Paris Match. The show had its first performance in Épernay on March 9. Just a few more months until you can enjoy it in Paris and across France!
