Inappropriate Behaviors with Multiple Women During Filming
Inappropriate comments, unwelcome gestures… The investigation reveals that the incidents, amounting to sexual harassment and even sexual assault based on the given descriptions, occurred “« on film sets, during rehearsals, in the closed cabin of a dressing room, at the cafeteria, or on set ». The women who were victims were working as production assistants, makeup artists, or costume designers.
During the filming of You Are Young, You Are Beautiful in 2018, Gérard Darmon reportedly acted “« very sweet, planting kisses at the corner of the mouth &.
“,” one of the women, a 19-year-old intern, shared. He also allegedly told her, “we can make love, you can come to my place,” before adding when she refused: “You will regret it, you will fall into my arms in a few weeks.”Voir cette publication sur Instagram
Angry and Humiliating Reactions
Feeling upset that the young woman wasn’t responding to his advances, the actor reportedly started talking to her “extremely badly. He would say: “Hello bitch, would you prefer I call you bitch or little piggy?” The young intern, who ultimately decided to file a complaint against the production for failing to protect, denounces that “they [the production] didn’t want to ensure my safety and favored the actor and the continuation of the film.”
An assistant director indicates that he supposedly “...”
put his hand between [her] thighs while [she] said hello » and he didn't hesitate to make remarks like « It's okay, you're not going to make a MeToo out of me ! » or to become angry and humiliating. According to Politis, ten other women provided testimony for the investigation but did not wish to be named.
