Bringing culture and solidarity back to life
The reopening has been gradual. Between September and December 2025, the Gaîté Lyrique has slowly revived culture within its walls, welcoming the public for concerts and gatherings. « Culture may not heal everything, but it can nurture », says the establishment in an editorial published on its site. While it can now officially announce that it will reopen its doors on January 13, it’s thanks to « a remarkable collective momentum of solidarity », it clarifies. Starting in January, the goal is to make the Gaîté Lyrique « a daily living space » where culture and solidarity are one.
