It was during the Edomae event, a key part of the competition where contestants must create a complete sushi platter, that Vincent Broggi, from the southwest, claimed first place, with Jérémi Seguda, the chef of the Yumidori restaurant in Chamonix, taking home third place. The creative challenge was also a French affair, with Vincent Broggi leading the pack and Jérémi Seguda close behind in second place.
