As violent wildfires sweep through Var and Gironde, France is getting ready to see its temperatures rise again starting next week, hinting at the return of a new heatwave. While most of the Hexagon will see temperatures soar above 30°C, Paris won’t escape it either. Here’s the scoop.

Up to 34°C feels like in Paris
There’s going to be a gradual increase in temperatures next week in the capital. "Temperatures, initially close to seasonal norms, will then rise over the days to go well above these norms," states Météo France in their report. On Monday, July 27, it will feel like 27°C during the day, and starting Tuesday, July 28, we’ll reach 31°C. By Wednesday, July 29, a peak at 34°C is expected in the capital. The temperatures should then slightly stabilize, with 32°C anticipated on Thursday, July 30, and 30°C on Friday, July 31. The outlook remains the same.for the beginning of August, with around thirty degrees expected on August 1st and 2nd.
