The Editor

Since yesterday, you’ve probably noticed that 2 stations in Paris on 3 different lines have been completely closed. This is a decision from the Police Prefecture for safety measures, following the start of the Fnac Live festival at the Hôtel de Ville square. Unfortunately, these closures will likely continue until the festival ends tomorrow. We’ll keep you updated.

2 stations and 3 impacted lines

Since yesterday, artists have been performing in front of and inside the Hôtel de Ville in Paris, much to our delight. However, what we’re less thrilled about are the disruptions caused by the event on certain lines of the capital’s transport network.

Line 1: the Hôtel de Ville station will be closed until the end of the event. From 3 PM today and tomorrow, there will be no train stops, mainly due to the exits being too close to the event and having to be restricted.

Line 7: even more inconvenient, the Châtelet station is completely inaccessible on Line 7. This interruption will also be in effect today and tomorrow starting at 3:45 PM. The exits 17, 18, and 19 from the station will be closed.

Line 11: we're wrapping up with line 11, where the station Hôtel de Ville will also be inaccessible, for the same reasons as line 1. No connections will be possible there, starting from 3 PM as well.

A Festival of Fun

A free event and inherently unifying in the cultural and musical landscape of Paris, Fnac Live Paris strives to offer a cosmopolitan, intergenerational lineup packed with talent each year. After a short break in 2024 – thanks to the Olympics – the festival is making a fabulous comeback on the plaza of the Hôtel de Ville for a 13th edition from July 2 to 4. Today and tomorrow, you can enjoy concerts featuring Solann, Danyl, Camille Yembe, Eddy de Pretto, Adèle Castillon, and even Vladimir Cauc!

Hémar, who will close the festival with great fanfare!
