For the past few weeks, anger has been building in the streets of France and it hasn't spared the capital either. And clearly, it's far from over. Indeed, while high school students have already begun extending blockades this Monday, November 2nd, a strike is being organized for Thursday and the Yellow Vests have already called for Act IV this weekend. In short, another week packed with social demands.

Students still on the front lines

This Monday, November 2nd, schoolchildren across the country were heading back to school after 15 days of vacation. And apparently, this return didn't go quite like usual for many high school students. According to early estimates, it's no fewer than a qua

around one hundred establishments that remained blocked this morning. In the capital, law enforcement intervened to prevent the blockade of certain schools, not without sparking protesters' anger. To keep the momentum going, a student demonstration is expected tomorrow, Tuesday, November 3rd, starting from the Panthéon. The procession will depart at 2 p.m. to head to the Medef headquarters, avenue Bosquet, in the 7th arrondissement. A call for boycott coming from several universities and high schools.

Not Alone in the Streets

Starting this Thursday, November 5th, the demands are about to reach a new level, as this time it's an inter-professional strike that's been announced, bringing together students and high schoolers as well as five unions: the CFDT, the CGT, Force ouvrière, the Unsa and the FSU. A day that promises to be busy, especially since disruptions are expected on the SNCF and possibly even the RATP. The day will be driven by demands concerning wages, public services, employment and industry. Finally, this Saturday, November 7th, it's the fourth act of the Yellow Vests that should take place throughout France. While the number of protesters has already dropped significantly since October 17th, it remains to be seen if the movement will hold on much longer despite more

justified.
