Ten years after the attacks that struck Paris on November 13, 2015, the city remembers and pays tribute to the victims and their loved ones. A big ceremony will take place this Thursday across various locations in Paris, and to accompany it, the Eiffel Tower, a symbol of the capital, will proudly display the colors of the French flag starting at nightfall. Join us on the evenings of Wednesday, November 12, and Thursday, November 13.


A Tricolored Tribute on the Iron Lady

« Ten years later, Paris and the entire nation pay tribute this week to the victims of November 13, 2015, to their families, and to their loved ones. » On Monday evening, the Mayoress of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, announced on her Instagram account that she is doing everything possible to honor the 130 people who lost their lives on November 13. In addition to a grand commemoration ceremony on the day itself, and a series of events planned for the week, the mayoress plans to illuminate one of the symbols of the City of Light, the Eiffel Tower, which will shine blue, white, and red.

The ten-year ceremony

Just a reminder, this Thursday, November 13th, all the sites affected by the 2015 attacks will be visited by President Emmanuel Macron, along with the Mayor of Paris and victim associations. The day will begin at 11:30 AM at the Stade de France and will continue to the various affected areas later that evening.g> Little Cambodia and the Carillon in the 10th district, as well as La Bonne Bière, La Belle Équipe, and Le Comptoir Voltaire in the 11th. The tour will happily conclude with a visit to the concert hall of the Bataclan, before inviting Parisians to the new memorial garden – the November 13, 2015 Garden – at Place Saint-Gervais at 6 PM.
