Ready for a little two-day trip to Asia? This weekend, the Club Belleville Festival is back in the capital to celebrate the Moon Festival (or Lantern Festival). Mark your calendars for October 3rd and 4th, 2026, along Belleville Street (aka the coolest street in the world), for an unprecedented village celebration featuring dragon dances, concerts, street performances and a huge street food market.
The Moon Festival in Paris
A thousand-year-old tradition, the Moon Festival (also called the Mid-Autumn Festival) is celebrated every year on the fifteenth day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar, when the moon is said to be the roundest and brightest of the year. In many East and Southeast Asian countries, this moment symbolizes the harvest, family unity and remembrance of ancestors. The tradition is therefore to gather with family and share mooncakes

Organized by the local media Club Belleville, the Belleville Merchants Association and with support from local town halls (also behind the Lunar New Year Festival in winter), the Club Belleville Festival extends the Moon Festival celebrations with a big open-air festival!
A XXL street food market
This weekend, on Belleville Street, expect to hear drums echoing and catch the delightful aroma of steaming hot ravioli wafting through the air. Because over these two festive days, the program will be packed! Saturday and Sunday, you'll enjoy traditional dragon and lion dances, concerts, street performances, and most importantly, a big festive market featuring street food, crafts, calligraphy, and other artistic creations.
