This is a huge project that is finally about to come to life in Boulogne. By the end of the year, a massive cultural complex will be rising on the Île Seguin, after several months of construction. On the agenda: a gigantic art center, a cinema, as well as all kinds of shops that will transform the image of the old factories and former Renault workshops.


A massive complex with multiple faces

This is a significant project envisioned by the Catalan architects of RCR Arquitectes, the French agency CALQ, and the Austrian agency Baumschlager Eberle. In a few months, Île Seguin, across the river from the Seine

It will feature a Pathé cinema with eight screens on 6,000 m² (one of the largest in Europe), 7,500 m² of shops and restaurants, a 4-star hotel, and a garden of monumental sculptures spanning 3.5 hectares, all together forming the Pointe des Arts. To connect this area with La Seine Musicale, a 22,000 m² commercial and office complex will be built in the upcoming months or years.

Good news! After months and months of construction and work, you won’t have to wait much longer to discover this extraordinary new area. Indeed, starting in the summer of 2026, most of the amenities will be accessible, including the hotel spa and pool, q

They will be open to the general public by reservation, as well as the cinema! The art center, on its side, will be operational in the fall.
