Ah, the month of May! This blessed time of year when long weekends come one after another, when five-day weeks achieve legendary status, and when extended weekends become the norm. The only downside? 4 stations closed
First up, the station Charles de Gaulle – Étoile (served by lines 1, 2, and 6, as well as the RER A) will be completely inaccessible starting this Wednesday, May 7 at 2 PM, and will remain that way until the end of service tomorrow evening. Its neighbor George V (line 1) will also be closed starting today, but only from 8 PM, and will reopen on Friday, May 9, following the celebrations.
Two other stations will also be affected by this organization, which we imagine has been planned for months to leave no detail to chance. These are Champs-Élysées Clémenceau (on line 1 and line 13), as well as Franklin D. Roosevelt, also on line 1 and line 9. However, for these last ones, the closure will not beIt will only be available on May 8th. None of these stops will be serviced, making any connections impossible during the entire duration of the interruptions.
