Military parade, fireworks, concert, drone show, the schedule for July 14, 2025 looks packed, much to our delight. But with so many activities, there are, of course, inaccessible security zones, whether you’re traveling on foot, horseback, on a motorcycle, or by metro. A huge perimeter has already been established in the 7th, 8th, 15th, and 16th arrondissements, prohibiting both traffic and parking. So what can we expect from the RATP?

14 fewer stations for the capital

Well, once again, we can say that...

The Paris public transport authority doesn't do things halfway, with 14 stations closed for more or less long periods throughout the day. And we start with the stations that will be unavailable from the opening of the network until the end of service this Monday, July 14:

Line 1: Tuileries, Argentine, and George V
Lines 1, 8, and 12: Concorde
Lines 1 and 13: Champs-Élysées – Clemenceau
Lines 1 and 9: Franklin D. Roosevelt
Lines 1, 2, and 6 and RER A: Charles de Gaulle – Étoile
Line 6: Kléber and Boissière

These 9 stations will be completely inaccessible throughout the day, with no exits open and no connections available, of course, simply because they are within the security perimeter.

An even more complex evening

And it doesn't stop there, as 6 more stations will join the list starting at 7 PM. These stops are not affected by the parade but will be impacted by the fireworks. So during the evening, you'll also need to forget the following stops:

Line 6: Bir-Hakeim, Passy, and Dupleix
Lines 6 and 9: Trocadéro
Line 8: École Militaire
Line 9: Alma – Marceau

These very short closures (which can be a bit annoying) are, of course, in addition to the disruptions caused by the summer works taking place throughout the network. So, on July 14, no trains will be running on line 3 between Opéra and Gallieni and on line 4 between Les Halles and Porte d’Orléans. Another downside, the stations Cambronne (line 6) and Gabriel Péri (line 13) will not be served. With that, good luck to everyone, and happy National Day!
