It's Christmas early this year! The exceptional year-end aid will be disbursed this year on December 13, as announced on Tuesday, November 19, by Ouest-France Paul Christophe, the Minister of Solidarity, Autonomy, and Equality between Women and Men. “Beneficiaries will see it appear in their bank accounts between December 14 and 16,” he clarified. Here are the conditions to benefit from it.

Over 2.3 million households affected

Since 1998, the CAF, the Agricultural Social Mutuality (MSA), and France Travail have provided this assistance. To be eligible, you must receive one of the following benefits: Specific Solidarity Allowance (ASS), Business Creation Aid (ACCRE) (only if you were receiving ASS beforehand), Retirement Equivalent Allowance (AER) – which has not existed since 2011, but remains a right for those who received it before that date – Transitional Solidarity Bonus, Monthly Activity Recovery Allowance, or Active Solidarity Income (RSA), as long as your household's resources do not exceed the RSA base amount corresponding to your family composition. In total, this affects over 2.3 million households.

On the other hand, people who are not eligible include...

that relate to the Return to Employment Allowance (ARE), Adult Disability Allowance (AAH), the minimum pension, or an activity bonus.

€152.45 for a single person

The amount of the Christmas bonus paid by the CAF and MSA varies depending on the family situation and the number of dependent children. You can expect €152.45 for a single person, and then you add 50% when the household consists of two people, whether it's a partner or a child. ```ant, and even 30% for each additional child », described the minister.

This corresponds to €228.67 for a couple without children or a single person with one child, €274.41 for a couple with one child or a single person with two children, €320.14 for a couple with two children, €335.39 for a single person with three children… And so on, with each additional child bringing in €60.98. Time to do your calculations! And know that if you’re a beneficiary, you have no steps to take, as the payment is automatic.
