The Canadian diva is taking over the capital. As her concerts have become the number one topic of conversation in the streets of Paris, Céline Dion is absolutely everywhere. And after having the honor of seeing her name on the Olympic cauldron, it's now a RER station that has just taken her name.

This Saturday, September 12th, Céline Dion made her grand return to the stage, before an excited crowd at the Plénitude Arena. The first show of a series that stretches for more than a month, during which she thoroughly proved she still deserves her title as an international mega superstar. And to top off her musical reign, even public transportation got on board with the singer.


An entire station completely makeover

Since the middle of last week, La Défense commuters have had the pleasure of discovering a station decorated in Céline's colors to prepare the concertgoers. It

it's worth noting that the stop serves the Plénitude Arena, where all the concerts take place. And to say the least, Île-de-France Mobilités (IDFM) didn't do things halfway.

On the ceiling, huge blue panels have been installed, displaying "Celine", following the codes of station names. Stickers have been placed everywhere, referencing the biggest hits from the Québécoise star, like "We Won't Leave Without You" or "I'll Go Where You Go and That's How It Is". Agents have also been equipped with beautiful vests stating "You know Celine's entire repertoire, we know all the routes". But our favorite detail is definitely the huge stickers reading "Celiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine" along the escalators.

, Jean-Jacques Goldman's best friend has thus kicked off her first series of concerts, during which she will perform no fewer than 16 times by next October 17th. She will return in May 2027 for a new wave of 10 concerts, equally anticipated by the public. For each show, tens of thousands of people from all corners of the world are expected, creating a buzz for the French capital worthy of the Olympics.
