Given that the global superstar she is, there was little doubt that Céline Dion would be able to boost local tourism all on her own with her 16 concert dates at the Plénitude Arena in Nanterre. It's particularly on the train booking front that her impact has been felt! Trainline looked into the matter and observed a 96% increase in the number of bookings for trips to the capital this week — her first concert will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Fans from all corners of Europe
While French spectators will be numerous, international fans, particularly from Europe, will also be widely represented. Trainline notes a 420% increase in bookings from Zurich, 206% from Barcelona, 205% from London, 202% from Valencia, and 200% from Stuttgart.
This trend is slightly lower, though equally marked within France: bookings to Paris increased by 200% from Avignon, 134% from Grenoble, 124% from Montpellier, 115% from Nice, and 112% from Aix-en-Provence.
International flight searches equally impacted
Train isn't the only means of transport involved! According to Amadeus, flight searches to Paris have also skyrocketed by 11% compared to last year — Celine Dion performing only in France for her big return to the stage after six years away.
The Americas play a central role in this surge: 26.85% of bookings come from the United States, 5.5% from Brazil, 4.4% from Canada and 2.4% from Mexico. Among other international countries most mobilized for these Celine Dion concerts, we find Japan (6.6%), Australia (5.1%), South Korea (4.5%) and India (2.19%).
