Here we are at the last public holiday in May, a month that has flown by at lightning speed. Thursday, May 29, 2025 will mark Ascension Day, and it’s safe to say it’s a great opportunity to take Friday off for a little extended weekend. The Grand Stores
Galeries Lafayette, BHV Marais, Bon Marché, Printemps Haussmann… The grand stores and shopping centers in Paris will be open on this holiday, but their hours will be slightly different from usual. Most will open their doors at 10 or 11 AM and close at 7 or 8 PM. Make sure to check in advance!
Parks and Gardens
Great news, the green spaces in Paris will be ready to welcome you on Ascension Day. And that’s perfect because the weather is expected to be quite pleasant. On the agenda: sunshine and 23 degrees!
