The Editor

In 2022, the good old Bus Palladium officially hung up its boots, taking with it all the memories lived in this legendary rock club that had welcomed the greatest artists. From Dalí to Mick Jagger, and including the Beatles, Otis Redding, Les Rita Mitsouko, Téléphone… Six decades of boldness, electrifying concerts, and wild nights suddenly came to an end. However, the Bus Palladium will indeed make a (big) comeback in 2026, but in a whole new form: the rock venue is transforming into a vibrant living and party space (still centered around music) that will feature concerts and a five-star hotel boutique. The reopening is scheduled for March.

The rebirth of an icon

Since its opening in 1965, the Bus Palladium has kept the heart of Pigalle beating, night after night. Its closure in 2022 marked the end of an era, the end of a dancer floor that was as unifying as it was liberating. To help soften the blow, we were simultaneously informed about its demolition, a project and a renewed spirit. A revival signed by Christian Casmèze, the historic owner who inherited the building from his grandfather, a living memory of the place, alongside Nicolas Saltiel, founder of the Chapitre Six hotels – who himself worked at the Bus in his youth – bringing a fresh, modern vision. Together, they have transformed and elevated this iconic spot in Pigalle, featuring a club stage, hotel, restaurant, bar, and rooftop for the sunny days.

Bus Palladium 2.0

Bus Palladium is rising from the ashes with an amazing team! The Studio KO has taken care of all the architecture, blending rawness and softness, memory and creation, rock and hedonism. On the artistic direction and cultural curation side, we have Caroline de Maigret at the helm, a music producer, Parisian icon, and a figure of Pigalle since she was 20. She has reimagined the Bus with a contemporary twist (while keeping its old-school generosity) by creating playlists designed for every moment and space, a signature amber-woody scent, and uniforms (designed by Husbands) inspired by British rock and the Nouvelle Vague. The nightlife is in the capable hands of Lionel Bensemoun (Le Baron, La Mano…), who decides to reconnect with the DNA of Bus Palladium, featuring concerts, DJ sets, performances, shows, aftershows, and more…

A Five-Star Hotel with a Twist

The main highlight of the Bus Palladium transformation is, without a doubt, the creation of a brand new five-star hotel, designed to be a lively spot both day and night. What's on the agenda? 35 stylishly decorated rooms – featuring Proustian cork walls, raw concrete ceilings, soft pink carpets, and Ojas speakers with built-in playlists – as well as a 70 m² Rock Suite paying tribute to rock icons, of course. On the culinary side, Chef Valentin Raffalli is in charge of crafting the menus for the restaurant (open 24/7 all year round), the bar, and breakfast, focusing on responsibly sourced ingredients and intentionally concise menus. For instance, you can find dishes like scallops in pil-pil sauce, puntarelle salad, and tortellini al brodo (in broth) at the restaurant.

With a planned opening in March 2026, the Bus Palladium is all set to continue making its mark on Parisian nightlife, bringing to life a brand new venue that’s buzzing!

any time from noon to four in the morning. A transformed bus that we can't wait to (re)discover.
